We’re flipping excited (literally and figuratively) to announce that Wickers Gymnastics Club is now a proud business sponsor of Ropetackle Arts Centre in Shoreham-by-Sea!
As part of our sponsorship, we’ll be supporting the much-loved Short Stories, Tall Tales programme—an imaginative and interactive series of theatrical shows for young children created and performed by the brilliant Hannah Summers. These charming performances run throughout the year and are designed to introduce little ones to the joy of storytelling and theatre in a fun, relaxed environment.
At Wickers, we know first-hand the power of movement, creativity and confidence-building—and this collaboration is the perfect fit. While we spend our days helping young gymnasts build strength and coordination, Ropetackle nurtures young imaginations through performance and play. We’re thrilled to be supporting their work and extending our reach into the local community in a new and creative way.
“Being part of Ropetackle’s community programme means so much to us,” said our Club Director, Katy Hodgson-Kerr. “We love seeing children grow and thrive through movement, and supporting creative theatre gives us a chance to help even more young people access experiences that enrich their development. It also allows us to connect with families who might not know about Wickers yet!”
With both Wickers and Ropetackle dedicated to engaging children, supporting families, and being an active part of the local area, it’s a partnership that just makes sense. We’re proud to be joining a vibrant network of community-minded organisations and supporting the arts in Shoreham and beyond.
