Basics of Trampoline and Tumbling Gymnastics


Trampoline and tumbling gymnastics consist of several events, including individual and synchronized trampoline, double mini-trampoline, and tumbling. In individual trampoline, athletes perform a routine of acrobatic skills on a trampoline. In synchronized trampoline, two athletes perform identical routines on separate trampolines simultaneously. In double mini-trampoline, athletes perform a series of acrobatic skills on a small trampoline followed by a landing on a mat. In tumbling, athletes perform a routine of acrobatic skills on a long strip of spring floor.
