Olympic Success:

  • Louis earned three Olympic medals on the pommel horse: a bronze at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, a silver at the 2012 London Olympics, and another silver at the 2016 Rio Olympics.

  • In 2012, he was part of the Great Britain team that won a bronze medal in the men's artistic team all-around at the London Olympics.

Historic Achievements:

  • At the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Louis became the first British gymnast to win a medal in an individual gymnastics event since 1928.

  • He is the second gymnast ever to win three successive Olympic pommel horse medals, following in the footsteps of Marius Urzică.

  • Louis won the European Championship title on the pommel horse in 2015, representing Great Britain.
