GB ASPIRE SQUAD
We are so pleased to announce that after an invite to an assessment day at Lillishall National Sports Centre Amelie Beadle Gates has been selected for the GB Aspire Squad for 2022!
English Championships 2022
Amelie Beadle Gates competed at the English Championships for the first time on the 11th March 2022. Amelie had a few mistakes on bars and beam but had a fantastic floor routine which earned her the title of English Floor Champion 2022. What a great achievement!
British Championships 2022
On the 24th of March 2022 Emilia House competed in the Disability section and Amelie Beadle Gates competed in the Espoir section at the British Championships in Liverpool.
Emilia wowed the crowed with spectacular routines on bars, Beam and Floor. Her routines won gold on all three apparatus!
Amelie did Wickers proud with a stunning floor routine which placed her 7th and a great vault vault which just missed the medals with a 4th place. Amelie placed top 20 in the country!
History was made once again for Wickers with not only one gymnast but two gymnasts competing at the British Championships!

British Championship Success
27th November 2021
On the 27th of November Amelie Beadle Gates competed in the Espoir British Championships and went up against the best in the country! Amelie went out with confidence and did fantastic!

We are immensely proud of Amelie for making history for the club once again and cant wait to see what 2022 will bring for this very talented young lady!
British Gymnastics Disability Competition
Congratulations to Emilia House and her coach Hayley Laxton! Emilia competed in the British Gymnastics Disability competition on the 17th Oct 2021 in Stoke on Trent. Not only did Emilia place 2nd overall she also received a silver medal for Floor and Beam and a gold on Bars!
Success at Compulsory 2 Grades
On the 2nd and 3rd of Oct Amelie Beadle Gates and Tanya Dipu competed in their Compulsory 2 Grades in Stoke on Trent.
Amelie placed top 12 in the country and passed her grade with flying colours. Tanya did fantastic and placed in the top 70 in the country!
