Introducing Wickers Gymnastics Club Awards

We have some exciting news……Wickers Gymnastics now has its very own Awards Scheme.
Earlier this year British Gymnastics announced they were terminating their Proficiency Scheme and relaunching their programme as Rise Gymnastics.   Having looked at the new Scheme, the coaches did not feel it was a fair reflection of the programme on offer at Wickers and therefore not meriting the achievements of our gymnasts.    So as a team, we embarked on the mammoth task of creating the Wickers Award Scheme, which reflects the achievements of our gymnasts following our training programme.
The Wickers Award scheme consists of 18 Awards and we will also ultimately have a Bronze, Silver and Gold Award.    Gymnasts will be assessed within their sessions at various times throughout the year, and we will also have designated Award assessment sessions within the programme 2 to 3 times a year.     It is anticipated that the gymnasts should achieve at least 1 Club Award a year, however this may be more when they start the scheme.   
Once the assessments have been carried out, and gymnasts have passed a level, an email will be sent acknowledging this.
